Formula SAE

Excited to say I am getting involved in another lithium battery project for a university team planning a Formula SAE assault.

I can't tell you which team at the moment, but I hope to share that with you in the future. last year I was involved in the University of Technology Sydney vehicle, Roxanne.

The rules state that battery has to be under 600V and with no more than 80kW power draw. That equates to 133A maximum current to be drawn from the battery. From these basic rules we will begin to select cells and arrange them into a safe pack. It’s going to be fun.
